Ep 206 Reuters Study on AI in News
There's a new study out from the Reuters Institute that makes for interesting reading. It's called the Generative AI and News 2025, and it surveyed thousands of people across six countries to understand how we're actually using AI and what we think about AI-generated news.
The findings are not surprising in some ways, as respondents talk about the importance of trust, transparency, and what happens when technology moves faster than our readiness as news consumers.
As a former journalist and as somebody who works with radio stations on digital news, I'm always keen to review the latest research, and Reuters Institute along with the University of Oxford do a great job in this field.
